Actually they are not if you
are comparing like machines. Television advertising
relies on the consumer not knowing the difference in the
individual components. They tell you the processor
speed, amount of memory, and size of the hard disk.
What they do not tell you is the speed of the memory, the
speed of the hard disk, and the amount of cache on the hard
disk. These subtle differences can
reduce system performance by 20-25%. These systems
usually also feature Windows XP Home which is not usable in
a network environment. When you start upgrading theses
"Value Options" you will quickly see that the pricing on
these TV Systems is not nearly as good as they started.
Also, when problems do occur, that require
repair, these Lower Cost TV PC's will be down for at least a
couple of days while parts are shipped for YOU to fix
yourself. Of course you can always send your system in
for service, which will take even longer yet. If
repairs are necessary on one of our Custom PC's most repairs
will be made same day minimizing your costly down time.
When you compare like systems, and
