Altapoint Support

From time to time everyone has questions, or problems that they can not fix on their own.  Our consultants have gone through an extensive certification program which provides us with an in-depth understanding of the program and the database behind it.

Support Services include:

 

Unlimited Phone Support

Most software questions or problems can be answered over the phone.  Our technicians will attempt to walk you through the troubleshooting process to identify the cause of the problem.  We can then attempt to guide you through the process of fixing the problem.

All phone support contracts come with PCAnywhere support.  PCAnywhere allows our technicians to dial into your computer using a standard modem to remotely take control of your computer.  This gives us the ability to control your computer as if we were sitting at the keyboard in your office.  Problems can be solved quicker, and far less costly than sending a technician to your office to do the same task.

Our unlimited phone support contract is designed to give you a person to call whenever you have a problem.  Phone support is available Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm Eastern Time.

Phone Support is designed for Technical Assistance and the occasional operational issue.  The following services are not included with any phone support contract:

  • Onsite Support

  • Telephone Training

  • Data Repair

  • Custom Report Development or Modification

Unlimited Phone support is available in 6 month or 12 month blocks:

 

6 Month Unlimited:   $450
12 Month Unlimited:   $699

 

Non-Contracted Hourly Support

A phone support contract is like an insurance policy.  Some clients rarely need it, and therefore prefer to purchase support as they use it.

Clients choosing to purchase support on an hourly basis will be subject to the current hourly rate at the time of billing.  All non-contracted support calls are billed in 15 min. increments and are subject to a 1/2 hour minimum charge.

 

Data Repair

Your data is the most important piece of your system, and the Advantage database engine working behind the scenes is one of the most stable databases available today.  However even the best databases can break from time to time.  For more information see our FAQ on data corruption.

Data Repair services are based on a per incident charge. 

Initial Repair:   $350
Related Repairs:   $125

We understand that sometimes data corruption can be caused by something that could repeat shortly after the initial repair causing the data to corrupt again.  In these cases our technicians can generally find the data corruption quickly without having to look for it.  These related repairs will be billed at a lower rate if the repairs are to the same tables within 1 week of the initial repair.

 

Data Conversion   

Data Conversion services are provided to assist office staff with the implementation by importing data from another system electronically.  This can save Data Entry time in an implementation. 

Patient Demographic Data can be imported for as little as $299 with Legacy system data provided in a .CSV text file.

 

User Training and Consulting

Onsite user training and consulting is highly recommended for any implementation to be a success.  It is our experience that training is best delivered in blocks of 4 hours.  Our training programs are designed to help you start setting up and working with the system immediately, making your non-training hours more productive.

 

Half Day ( 4 hours ):   $349
Full Day ( 8 hours ):   $599
 

Custom Development

Our development staff is capable of producing custom reports, and modules to make your practice management system meet your exact needs.  Cost of custom development is based on the number of hours required to complete the project.  Hourly rate is variable based on the number of hours estimated to complete the project.

 

On-Site Support

Onsite support is available for virtually any purpose.  On-Site support is billed hourly the current hourly rate.
